State Fair

Ella's 3rd trip and Bruiser's first.  We had a great time, Ella did a ton and the big man was awesome.  Seriously, he really never even cried despite me having to nurse him at a picnic table in the Coluseum, a bench in the car building and finally the wonderfully discovered baby care tent!  Nana and Papi went with us, which was a huge help!  I think they may need to go every year.  Prepare for a ton of pics and a video of Ella in the new cars. :)

Dear Baby Dodd #2

I LOVE being pregnant, totally honestly.  However, the doc's are going to be breathing down mommy's throat in no time.  Since I am anti-intervention, induction, drug, etc, this presents some anxiety.  Since I am also VBAC, I need you to come on your own.  Mommy really doesn't want to rush you, but the intervention happy medical community will soon be at our doorstep.  I think if I refused to show up at the hospital, someone would be after me.

  I know it is warm and cozy and there is lots of yummy food in there, but help Mommy out.  I will really miss you in there, you little feet poking out to say hi, your little hiccups that say you are practicing your breathing and all the wiggles. :)  I know God will bring you out when it is time, in the mean time, I pray he brings me less worrying.

Frustrated and scared.

I am so crushed I cried most of yesterday. I want to have a natural med-free birth so bad. I had an AWFUL-A!W!F!U!L! c/s with DD and I have done so much to keep that from happening again. Bradly classes, doula, new doc, new hospital, etc. Yesterday at my sono I heard the dreaded word...breech. I am seeing a chiro, started inversions, sit indian style, pray, pray, pray.

Please pray that this little bugger turns to the right position. I know I still have time, but I feel so sad. I am so upset, I was so dumb the first time and this time I am so prepared. Why did God send me all this knowledge just to rip away my chance to use it?

OK, I'm done now, pity party done...I think.

Message to Baby Dodd #2, "Please turn around and put your head down.  Mommy does not want to have surgery or drugs, she wants to labor at home and go to the hospital when she has to.  It is the best thing for you!"

Praying that this little munchkin turns around!!
